Migration Guide

How to switch from cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin to adminbolt. We offer 6 months free on any plan when you migrate, and direct support throughout.

Step 1

Before you start

→Adminbolt runs on AlmaLinux 9. Ensure your server meets system requirements.
→You can install adminbolt alongside your current panel and test for 30 days with no commitment.
→For a full migration, we recommend a staged approach: new servers on adminbolt first, or migrate accounts in batches.

Step 2

One-command install. Full instructions are in the main documentation; summary:

curl -sSL https://get.adminbolt.com/install.sh | bash

After install, access your panel at https://your-server:8443 and complete the initial setup.

Step 3

We are building automated migration tools (cPanel converter coming soon). Today you can:

→Use standard backup/restore workflows (e.g. full account backups from the old panel, restore to adminbolt where supported).
→Create new accounts on adminbolt and move domains and data manually or with your own scripts.
→Contact us for a custom migration plan. We work with partners and larger providers on a case-by-case basis.
